What Bibles Get Through The Believers Examination
Friday, April 27th, 2012In religious groups a new translation may be the in the thing to have.
You may have unwittingly been swept up in this rush to have “A Better Translation”. But be aware that that these “New” Bibles have over 5,000 differences in them when compared to the King James Bible.
The newer versions actually come from a corrupt text. It is not the thees and thous, it is that the manuscript is not the same as what the KJV Bible was taken from. There is no issue over translation it is over the TEXT that was translated.
If you want to know if you have one of these corrupted Bibles turn to Colossians 1:14. If this verse does not include the phrase “through his blood” then you have a bible that has been translated from a corrupt text.
Translators could not translate what was never there.
To understand the importance of our King James Bible it is important to note the process from which it came. We got our Bible through the providentially preserved process naturally occurring in the doctrines of inspiration and preservation.
Bible Believers see it as. The preserved & inspired Word of God can now be held in my hands. We have confidence in that God has preserved His Word through preserving the copies throughout history maintaining the reliability of the originals. For the English language the King James Bible is from God’s preserved manuscripts. The following questions are answered by this view.
1 – how to identify the inspired words.
2 – how the inspired words are preserved.
3 – Where can we find the inspired words.
You can not claim the bible as your lives authority without recognizing the claim that the Word of God makes of itself. The bible can not be of any authority to you if it is not your final authority.
There is no better final authority to have for your life then God’s final authority.
