What pushed you to turn to the web to seek your wealth and celebrity? Do you like the idea of the 30 second commute, setting your own hours and having adaptability in your schedule?
The Beginners guide Recommended Reading exist due to my journey of trial and errors in learning how to swim in the webs ocean of amazing information. There is a gigantic quantity of available information and a spread of ways to come up with the same winning results.
Your challenge is to find what is going to be best for you and sort through the wealth of info readily available at your finger tips.
An example which will aid in explaining it in terms most people can understand is this:
When you are accustom to swimming a few laps in a pool and then you all of a sudden find yourself out in the middle of the sea with no land in sight, what would be your first thoughts? WOW! …At first, fear … The realization of the situation, plans and immediate actions.
o Fear – Did you suspect, what have I gotten myself into or did you jump in delighted to be online? Have you asked, How am I making money online and where do I actually start? Which way should I go? Who do I trust? Can I make it and how long will it take?
o Realisation – There's a lot of information here and how do I know which direction to go? How am I able to learn how to build web sites, research keywords, find niche’s, write article, publish newsletters, write sales copy, build a list and steer traffic to the websites? Have you noticed how many product launches arrive in your email? All of them guarantee products you need in your business, so what determines which product you purchase?
o Plans – Have you thought, I will be able to just follow this guru as he is successful and will show me exactly what to do. This fresh product will help me improve results. This guru seems to get faster results and I won't have to find out all.
o Your Plans – What are your plans and your idea of success? Did you begin by writing a business proposal? If not how are you going to know where you are going or when you reach your final destination?
o Actions – What actions are you content to take to meet your expectancies? Your goal is to survive, so what steps are you going to take straight away to determine your end result in web marketing? Have you got a plan and a budget in place to follow? Are you pleased to put your future in peril by not following a proven system? Are you happy to do whatever is necessary to make your dreams of net success a reality?
Hopefully you have answered all the questions above and if not, you now have some concepts of how some newbies find themselves traveling in circles.
When you are willing to meet new people, learn new talents, admit you don't know it all and above all not be afraid to “ask for help”, your Internet future is promising. Why just promising, because there's a tremendous learning curve when you first start in online marketing and it has got a way of removing those less determined.
